Let’s do our part. Let’s acknowledge what the Bible calls sin, is sin, eradicate it from our lives, let it go, cast it down, confess it, leave it at the foot of the Cross, and receive forgiveness for it. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9. NKJV.
Maybe it seems there is barrenness in your life. Maybe the deepest desire of your heart has not yet become a reality. Is it a calling, a passion, a dream, a promise of God not yet fulfilled? Know that God listens to your heartfelt cry. He hears and knows and understands.
Just imagine what church life would be like, what our personal day-to-day life would be like, if Jesus was really there. Now I know He is, as He promised. And I know many many churches too are blessed with the wonder and power of the presence of Jesus. But too often, as is my experience, we get so involved in the things of life, and we get caught up in the activity and program of church life, that we miss something.
