God through the prophet Isaiah says to us to fear not, and be not dismayed. Fear has the capacity to grip us. It is real but it is powerless when God is in the picture. The coronavirus, or COVID-19, is sweeping the world. Something much more though is gripping people’s hearts; it is fear, paranoia and panic. There’s been panic buying of goods from supermarkets, and people wondering about their jobs, their future, and health. Economies around the world are already feeling the painful presence of this pandemic...
Christ is camped, all around us! He is with us right where we’re at. He’s not going anywhere soon, but He is with us and all around us. He is dwelling there with us. He is staying there with us. He has settled in right there with us and all around us.
Perhaps this last year there were things we said we wish we hadn’t, things we did we wish we hadn’t, things we didn’t do we wish we had. Too late now.
